If there is a tournament in town you can fight the other troops in the town and place bets if you win huge profit if you lose you lose renown.
You do this by recruiting from villages or by taverns (hiring mercenaries).
Each city has different prices for goods you can use this to trade between cities (you cannot buy/sell from castles).

If there is a battle going on you can help or harm a side by interfering with the battle (must be of enough renown).

Help lords battle an enemy faction as a mercenary.
Raid the villages of enemy factions for food and money.
Attack enemy lords and bandits to get started.
When blocking with a weapon it only absorbs some of the damage of an attack and is ineffective at blocking projectiles.įeatures in Mount & Blade: Warband
You press the right mouse button (if you have a weapon right-click ) With a shield this effectively absorbs all damage from an attack, however after a number of attacks you shield will shatter and it can no longer be used for the duration of the battle.
